Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

I hope all you lovely Sydney and Melbourne food bloggers are geared up and ready to frolic at our first ever Mad Hatter Spring Picnics held in both of our fair cities. 10 days to go peeps! Have you registered for details yet? (Sydneysiders, head here. Melbournians, head here). And if you haven't, then what are you waiting for? Perhaps this announcement will give you a friendly jolt? Or if you are already attending, maybe we can up the excitement factor just a little? Friends, I have a message for you all...

That's right folks, we thought it'd be a hoot to take this picnic up a notch and reward you bloggers! Simply do what you love - cook or bake - and you could win a brand spanking new Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer as well as an array of other fabulous stuff including restaurant vouchers. Now this ain't no bloodsport, so have fun with it!

We have up to ten amazing prizes in the Sydney picnic and here are some of the categories that you could win it in:

Overall Best Dish of Sydney and Melboune Food Bloggers Spring Picnic 2010
Best Savoury (1st and 2nd)
Best Sweet/Dessert (1st and 2nd)
Most Outrageous 'Nuffnang Blue' Dish
Best two Mad Hatters (craziest and coolest hats)

Here are a few terms and conditions that you'll need to know:
All food bloggers are encouraged to cook or bake ONE DISH only, savoury or sweet. One entry per blogger.
The dish has to be created and homemade by you. It cannot be made by anybody else or be store-bought or pre-processed/cooked.
Only food bloggers are allowed to enter for the prizes. Family and friends of bloggers are not eligible.
You are welcome to create a dish that ties in with the 'Mad Hatter' theme, but it's not essential.
You do not have to wait for the judges to come and taste your food first. Feel free to share with others and simply save us a small portion for judging.
There will be a lot of dishes to judge on that day, so please be patient and we will try to get through the process as fast as we can.

Judges in Melbourne - Michele (Iron Chef Shellie), Penny (Jeroxie), Thahn (I eat therefore I am) and Vanessa from Nuffnang.
Judges decisions are final.
Prizes are non transferable or refundable.
